Detroit is a very versatile famous city with a history that's internationally recognized. Whether you call Detroit "The Motor City" or "The City of Motown" it's a metropolis that has influenced American culture like no other. Outside of it's original popularity as a trading post and one of the Midwest's oldest metropolises, Detroit has a thriving fashion scene as well. The weather varies from season-to-season and changes without notice and the average temperature radically differs. The most sizzling months are from June to August with an average high temperature of around 80°F. Summers are blessed with lots of sunshine and blue skies. Fall is replete with a bevy of autumn hues during late September to late October. The winter season encompasses a variety of weather changes with rain, sleet, and snow with snowfall averaging about 40 inches.

  • July has the highest temperature dropping to below 65°F during the night.
  • If wearing heavy boots or carrying an umbrella is not your thing, the driest months in the city are January, February, and December. With January the month with the least amount of snow or rain.
